These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Found It Safe LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of the U2ME™ service at getu2me.com.
By placing an order, creating an account, or using any part of the U2ME™ service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
U2ME™ provides a lost-item recovery service consisting of:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time with reasonable notice to registered customers.
All prices are listed in US Dollars. By placing an order, you authorize us to charge the stated amount to your payment method via Stripe, our payment processor.
Prices are subject to change without notice, but any price change will not affect orders already placed and confirmed.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud or inventory errors. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.
Physical labels ship within 1–2 business days of order confirmation. Delivery times vary by destination but are typically 3–7 business days within the United States.
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our control. If your order is lost in transit, contact us and we will reship or refund at your choice.
Shipping is currently available within the United States. International shipping availability may vary.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all consumer orders. If you are not satisfied for any reason within 30 days of purchase, contact us at support@getu2me.com or via our support form and we will issue a full refund.
For physical labels, we may request that you return unused labels before processing a refund. We will cover return shipping if the issue is our fault.
Annual renewal fees ($9.99/yr) are non-refundable after the renewal period has begun, except in cases of service failure on our part.

Your U2ME™ QR codes are activated upon successful order completion. Each code includes 1 year of active protection from the date of activation.
After the first year, you may renew your protection for $9.99/year per order. If you do not renew, your QR codes will become inactive — meaning scans will not trigger notifications, though the finder's page will still display a message indicating the item may be lost.
We will send renewal reminders before your protection expires.
We make commercially reasonable efforts to deliver notifications promptly when your QR code is scanned. However, we do not guarantee delivery of every notification due to factors outside our control, including carrier delays, spam filters, phone number changes, or network outages.
You are responsible for keeping your contact information and emergency contacts up to date. We are not liable for missed notifications resulting from outdated contact information.
The notification system is designed to assist in item recovery but does not guarantee that your item will be returned. U2ME™ is a notification and connection service, not an insurance product.
By providing your phone number and completing a purchase, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from U2ME™ related to your order and item recovery alerts.
Opting out of SMS will disable text notifications for your account. You will still receive email notifications if your email address is on file.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your account and forfeiture of any refund.
U2ME™ is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that lost items will be recovered.
We are not responsible for the actions of third parties (finders) who interact with your QR code.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Found It Safe LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of U2ME™, including but not limited to loss of property, loss of data, or failure to recover a lost item.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of U2ME™ shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
U2ME™, the U2ME™ logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Found It Safe LLC. All website content, code, and design are the property of Found It Safe LLC.
You may not use our trademarks, logos, or content without prior written permission.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Fairfax County, Virginia.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered customers.
Your continued use of U2ME™ after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
